Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information DelusionScale collects when you use our website, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain language because we think you should actually be able to understand it.
The short version
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the calculator. Your calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to us as a profile about you.
Information we collect
Automatically collected technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site running, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate usage. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Information you give us directly. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
We use the limited information we have to operate and improve the website, respond to your messages, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Data retention
Server logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider retains them for operational purposes. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because we collect so little, there is usually nothing to show, but if you want to ask, email info@delusionscale.com and we will respond.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
